On August 29, 2005, Hurricane Katrina destroyed our office building and closed 22 company and publisher magazines in the Louisiana and Mississippi costal areas, disrupting the lives of associates, employees and customers. We're proud that a little over two years later, we had completely rebuilt the business with added products, publishers and an enhanced printing program that was even better than before.  We owe a debt of gratitude to our publishers, suppliers and friends nationwide who offered their support and loyalty during our recovery.

Louis Hannum

Louis Hannum - About UsLou Hannum, Founder, developed his concept of organizing a group of independent publishers to take advantage of flexibility and volume in the printing industry after being frustrated with the limitations that most group and franchise programs offered.  Lou put together a package for publishers that includes 52 print dates a year, unlimited page counts, minimum turnaround and added value programs that increase the bottom line for publishers and give more advertising options for their customers.
In December 2009, Lou Hannum passed away.  He is sorely missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.  The owners and managers of AmMax have pledged to continue his work in his honor.

Pattie Schof

Pattie Schof - About UsPattie Schof, Chief Financial Officer - Office Manager, does it all!  Pattie's responsibilities include the total logistics for order processing including mail lists and labels, printing, finishing and fullfilment, freight, shipping for samples and extras, supplemental printing orders for inserts, wraps and DAL cards, postal receipts, etc.  Plus, Pattie handles all the financial obligations for each order, banking, purchasing, and is the prime interface between publishers, printers and other suppliers.  She is each publishers back office person, and she gets the job done efficiently!  Pattie has an impressive background in executive administration and banking and coordinates all accounting for the business.  She is also a real estate agent for Gardner Realtors and is also a Notary Public.
Pattie's hobby/passion is racquetball.  She has been ranked in the top ten in her skill/age group since 1993.  She is a sponsored player for Team Ektelon and a certified instruction and certified referee.  She doesn't compete nationally any longer, but is still active in the Louisiana Racquetball Association as their financial director and helps with the production of all of the USA Racquetball nationally sanctioned State Tournaments.  She also is a member of Elmwood Fitness Center, one of the South's premier fitness clubs, where she works out and oversees the Intermediate Racquetball League.  You can sign up with Pattie for racquetball lessons and take advantage of her knowledge of the game.   

Edward Foster

Edward Foster - About UsEddy Foster, Chief Technology Officer, develops customized value-added technology solutions for our network of independent publishers.  Eddy brings over 13 years of experience developing large scale Internet and Intranet applications to the AmMax team.  AmMax offers custom websites, electronic magazines, targeted internet marketing, and a whole host of other technology solutions to publishers in our network.  Eddy coordinates the creation, maintenance, and support of our technology solutions.

Anthony King

Anthony King - About UsAnthony R. King, Director of Operations, Northeast, has been a publisher in the AmMax program for nearly a decade.  His publishing company has produced a number of targeted publications in addition to the direct mail savings magazines including, "Flavor", a dining guide, and  "Off-Campus Savings", a university publication.  Tony continues to magage his own company as well as directing new publisher development in the Northeastern United States for AmMax.  Tony's magazines also serve as beta testing sites for new AmMax products such as the "Lucky Numbers" program.
